"Why fall for someone who won’t even stand up for you?"

Ladies, ladies, ladies...why do we do this to ourselves? Why do we torture ourselves with thoughts of our ex? A person who has done nothing else but try to crush your good spirit and has mastered the art of hurting you. So I ask you this question again...Why fall for someone who won’t even stand up for you?
Once you have decided to end a relationship...end it and move on... why stay stuck in the past? Why reminisce on when things we good? Think about when things turned bad...think about what got you to say goodbye in the first place so you can say BYE for GOOD!!! 
 So often we fall for the pick up lines with no substance.  We fall for the sweet eye lock and the idea of a fairytale ending before it even starts.
It's true what they say, before you can be happy in a relationship, you MUST be happy alone.  Bottom line is that we should not settle for anything less then the best. Once you figure out your worth, you will never settle for 2nd place.
We need to stop falling into what society tells us we should do and when we should do it. So what I'm getting older and I'm still single! I am single and I have now come to accept it and learning to enjoy it. It really isn't that bad. Just ask yourself. Would you rather be unhappy in love or happy alone? I think that one is a no brainner yes? So don't get sucked in the trend just because everyone around you has a man and you just want to fit it. Be happy with the blessings that surround you. Enjoy your alone time while it lasts and WAIT for the right one to come along for you to fall, because when you do fall...the right one with catch you.
